AN ACT to Repeal the Act Intituled an Act for Encouragement of Tanning Leather in this Province


Whereas the Act for prohibiting the transportation of Raw hydes by Long Experience hath been very prejudicial to the Inhabitants of this Government, by reason no Care was taken, to Encourage the Tanning trade, whereby people might have their hydes tanned, so that many hydes perished on the hands of the Owners, Wherefore for the prevention of which unconveneancy for the future Wee pray that it may be Enacted

And It is hereby Enacted by his Excellency the palatine etc. That the said Act, Entituled an Act for the Encouragement of Tanning of Leather in this Province, and Every Clause Article and provision therein Contain’d be and hereby is repealed and Utterly declared Void and null to all Intents and purposes as if Such Act had never been made.
